Avon Terraces

After the great Thickshake of 2011, “Canterbury Earthquake Recovery Authority” was put in place to get the rebuild started.
They commissioned Thecartoonist.net to make some nice friendly visualisations of what they’d planned along the Avon.
Apparently architects had designed these spots already, but their work was dashed hard to get hold of, let alone interpret.

Margaret Mahy’s playground was one of those spots, the terraces was another. All these bits and pieces are now complete, I’m told.
I MUST SAY I’ve avoided the central city since long before the quakes, so I’ve no idea if my visualisions hit the mark!
P’raps you might know?
